The Boston Celtics Mailing List Digest, V15, #134

Forget it. Did everyone read the interviews with Ainge and Doc in the
papers this morning? Everything is great. Doc is a great coach and we
want him here for 10 years.

If we don't get a top-two pick, I'm almost resigned to them trading Al
for some marginally better veteran who is 10 years older. That will get
us to 40 wins, everyone will pat themselves on the back, and only the
die-hards like us will look closely enough to understand how screwed we
are.

Sorry ... Every ounce of optimism was sapped from me this morning.

Mark

I was actually wondering that very thing. With the development this
season by Al, and to a lesser extent Perk, how many games can this team
win next year, with a healthy Pierce (let's call healthy 78+ games), a
healthy Wally (70+ games), Tony Allen back at close to where he was,
Perk
healthy (78+ games), and Carlisle as the coach?
