Dorff on Golf

You must be a better golfer then me Doug. I always pull a snowman on 17 -
it's the 18th hole - without any further chance to play well, where I pull
some shot out of my netherregions to induce me back on the course for more
ineptitude.
 
So all that said, does that mean I can call my 5 iron: Danny Ainge? The damn
thing always slices, never flies true, and lies to me incessantly at the
range when I hit it on a line about 200 yards.

I was thinking about the Cs and golf when this post came up.  There is a
similarity between being a Cs fan this year and being a golfer.  You go out
and shoot a 120 or something, but on the 17th hole you chip in from the
fring, or put a 7 iron three feet from the pin.  That one shot brings you
back for another round, no matter how miserable your overall game.
 
So it is with the Cs.  A miserable season, but then Al hits that last-second
shot and we can't wait for next season to see what's next.  The glass is
half-full, albeit a 2 oz. glass.  - Douglas
