I'd love it if our BT could implement the Suns' system. I thought they were going to try this season, based on preseason lineups. Then we lost the opener and never tried it again.
On Al ... You're criticizing his offensive stats because we passed him the ball a lot? He's the most efficient scorer on the team and one of the best low-post players in the league. I don't think they pass him the ball enough. The reason other centers don't get as many opportunities is because they can't do the things Al can do.
There are a lot of things to criticize about this franchise right now, but Al Jefferson isn't one of them. Giving him up now is madness.

Wow - what a quick and efficient response.

Isn't that the system our BT can only dream of emulating?

Twenty-nine ain't exactly crotchety.
I don't want to dump all over Jeff because I am very pleased
with his play over the last half of this season. But he is not by
nature a team leader, his defense is awful, nor does he seem to
make the players around him play better. I just don't see him
as being a guy you build your team around.
Also, one of the reasons his offensive stats are so good is that,
purely out of default, he became our 2nd (now 1st) option while
a lot of centers are their team's 3rd -5th option.
