Doc getting an extension

OK, so I've been on vacation for a week ... Nice weather, great time
with the family. Disappointed to see the Buckeyes lose to Florida again,
but the Gators had the better team. Oden demolished that NBA front line
and I'm feeling pretty good about things overall. Then I'm watching
SportsCenter the morning after that game and Ric Bucher comes on and
says Oden erased all doubt about who the top pick is -- unless the
Celtics get the top pick. He said Ainge is "maverick" enough to take
Durant first. I'm tired of Ainge being "maverick." I'm ready for him to
be "smart." This depressed me.

 

Then I come back to the news in the Herald this morning: The Celtics and
Doc are close to a contract extension. I give up. What does a guy have
to do to get fired?

 

And it's 30 freaking degrees in Columbus right now.
