That's the thing, we could have also had Rudy Gay instead of Brandon Roy 
(or Telfair), which would have helped the frontcourt. I understand that 
Ainge couldn't have necessarily known that Rondo would still be 
available (and that he would have been able to trade back up into the 
first round) where he was, but it seems a waste of resources. I would 
have preferred Roy (or Gay), Rondo and Raef, to Telfair, Rondo and Ratliff.

Time will tell.
