A coach that applies each in direct opposition to what other coaches do to
exploit such dichotomy. Add to that we draft just low enough to usually
miss the guys that are both high IQ and athletic (again my biggest reason
why I hated the draft - we could've had one of those guys!!!)

i don't know patrick, Brandon Roy -- the guy who would have been available to
us at 7 in the draft fits
that bill, IMO. It sounds like there are legit concerns about his knee, long
term, but he's both
athleticaly talented and high basketball IQ.
if i had to do it all over again, would i have taken him over Telfair + 2nd
rounder + 1 year less of Raef?
I don't know, seems like a wash at worst, marginal advantage us at best.
its interesting to see the relative lack of optimism. i UNDERSTAND it ,,, i
really do, but maybe i'm just a
glass half-full guy. or deluded :)
