Great - what about the other games?  That's the consistency I'm speaking of.
This is year three, this is the year that league wide, draft picks either
realize their potential or don't (high school or college picks - it doesn't
really differentiate).  Unfortunately, it still seems we get one good game,
followed by three or four mediocre ones and if that is the case, with us
having nowhere else to turn at the four spot (except role players Gomes and
--cough-- Scalabrine), the C's once again will rely on Pierce for the bulk
of their offense and we've seen where that gets us.
 
As I tell my girls during practice - potential can be summed up as this: you
haven't done a darn thing yet. As I said earlier - I feel Jefferson has
sleepwalked through two years on athleticism alone and it's hurt the Cs.
Even when healthy he's been inconsistent, made way too many mental errors,
and counted on his talent instead of busting his butt to make that talent
realized.
