Pivotal player

If I had to select one player who I think is our pivotal player this year(other than Paul, of course), it would be Tony Allen. Last year was miserable, imo, because Tony was not available. His defense on the great wings of the East is necessary if we are to beat the likes of Wade and Miami, Arenas & the Wiz, Hamilton & Detroit, and others like Ben Gordon. Without his defense, we are left with Wally, Green, West (who is able), and perhaps Rondo at times. Only Tony can make the difference where it's most needed.

As far as Jefferson is concerned, I keep going back to the game in Dallas. I think he can find that level consistently; he thinks so. It's "show me" time. Gene
