Ainge says he'll pick up Allen's option

He's been saying that for a week or more.  I wonder if that gives us more leverage should we include him in a trade??  Thing is, if we get a shot at a home run trade, then Green or Jefferson would have to be included; Allen would not be a headliner.  Am I right that this merely gives us another year's option on Tony?  I'm pleased, since I think he will curb or be curbed on his hellbent to drive instincts.  I think he has incorrectly assumed that he had to prove himself with more points, more offense. Gene
