Could we have a bit of context here?  Sebastian is currently working for a $5-
million, 3-year contract.  That comes to more than $20K a game (not counting
playoffs, and before taxes, of course).  He also signed a $15-million sneaker
contract, and I doubt that's his only endorsement deal.

That gold chain is a tiny percentage of his wealth, a couple nights' work.  Plenty
of people wear wedding rings and other jewelry that's a much higher percentage
of what they make.  Not to mention that basketball players live in culture that
strongly encourages the display of fancy jewelry.

It's not my culture, but I don't think his wearing his chain is crazy.  Makes more
sense to me than Kenny Anderson's buying cars and keeping them in a garage.
I know nothing about the crime part, and have no interest in speculating/
speculation.
