I agree completely, except I'd say it's even worse: When something does
"stick" (work well), it makes no impression whatsoever. There's no chance
it'll be tried again the next quarter, much less the next game.

We've got more-talented guys on this team than in recent years (I think),
but many of them are unseasoned, and they certainly haven't played
much together. Any other team would consider the major challenge to
be finding some rotations and getting them grooved. But we're still
"looking at players." And I don't think we're even doing that well --
putting all the new guys on the floor at once doesn't tell you squat about
how each would do on his own playing with good players in an actual
offense.

Little things drive me crazy. Big things drive me crazy. I didn't like
Doc's coaching in the past, but this preseason has me hating on him.
I think what he's doing right now will lead directly to us losing extra games
at the beginning of the season.

Don't people at the Celtics see this? How long a honeymoon does Doc
get?

And let me throw in my current nightmare: the Celtics sign Kandi to a
multiyear extension because of the "work ethic" he's shown in the
preseason. It could happen. You know it could.
