struggling to see the good side...

It was at least a cool change of pace to hear Jo-Jo White.  I know 
very little about his analytical abilities, but somehow he came 
across as a  pleasant medium to the buoyant extremes of Tommy 
Heinsohn and the occasional dourness of Bob Cousy.

But it also struck me how much I still miss Johnny Most.

Sigh.

As to the game itself, this is one of those times I remind myself 
that in recent years, the Celtics have traditionally had stinky preseasons.

Onward to New York, where the Celtics will witness exactly how deep 
Isaiah Thomas has managed to get himself in THIS time...It'd be just 
our luck that his stinkiness as a coach will have the effect of 
galvanizing the Knicks players.

Remember, kids, whenever you complain about Doc Rivers--and I have my 
complaints, too occasionally--it could be a LOT worse.  :)
