Big Al ready to deliver

In a curious move on the eve of the third pre-season game, seasoned list member Gene Kirkpatrick claimed that Big Al Jefferson was poised to break out of his sophomore slump and deliver on his much touted, and awaited, potential.
   
  Awakened from a nap at his home, Kirkpatrick was quoted as saying, "Anyone can see he has all the ingredients--size, quickness, desire to play defense, and an enormous facility for scoring in the paint.  It's just a matter of when, and I happen to believe the time has come.  If he hasn't broken out by the beginning of the season, I will stop wearing my new Celtics' hat when I go to the grocery store."  
   
  Kirkpatrick then shut the door and went back to preparing his not-yet-famous Mexican meatloaf.
