And I agree that Rondo may well beat out Telfair to be the backup ... if
it's a fair competition.

Seriously, though, Redz hasn't participated in practices fully until 
this weekend, and they need to pimp Telfair to the fans at least 
initially, given that's all they have to show (OK, plus the part-timer 
Theo) for their high pick. Hence the talk of "separation" for Telfair. 
I'm pretty sure that sooner or later, and likely sooner, Del will be 
back where he rightfully belongs, and Telfair will be separated from the

starting PG position and back where he belongs - a change-of -pace PG 
off the bench, a Marcus Banks without the defense but with flashy 
passing skills. In fact, I'm not sure that Rondo won't beat out Telfair 
for the second-string PG spot.
