Ah, but Dallas didn't draft Nowitzki.  Dallas drafted Robert Traylor. 
Milwaukee drafted Nowitzki. 

We now return to our regularly scheduled hand-wringing.  I would be so
much more confident if the Cs had a coach capable of harnessing the talent
on this roster.

P.S.  Did anyone read the story about Cablevision in today's Wall St.
Journal?  Apparently, I've been "misunderestimating" James Dolan all
along.  Hiring Isiah to run the Knicks into the ground was pure genius -
if his family's ultimate goal was to drive their company's stock price
down to facilitate a buyback (and perhaps some intrafamily estate
planning, although the article didn't touch on that).  Look for Isiah to
go the day after that transaction closes.
