I know I'm nitpicking, but ...

This from the Herald today:

 

The C's went a bit long with their morning workout, finishing with a
lengthy scrimmage. Rivers thus decided to cancel the night session. . .
.  

 

This drives me nuts. Doc bitches about the NBA cutting the number of
practices before the games start, then he cancels one of their two-a-day
practices. This is a young team with a lot of new guys. They NEED those
practices.

 

It drove me crazy all last year. I don't know how many times in the
daily notebooks, it was reported that Doc "gave the team the day off"
either because they had a hard practice the game before or had played
well the game before or something like that. Do you think Riley is
giving his team that many days off? Do you think he's canceling
practices at this point in the preseason?

 

It took all of one week for Doc to actually raise my blood pressure. I
think I'm peaking too early.
