Bingo. Told you I don't like how they set it up. The incentive is to 
develop young players in an environment where they can theoretically 
thrive amongst players at their own level vs perhaps being 
overwhelmed on the big team. And that's a valid thing, but...

No, because you don't have to stash them anywhere. You don't have to 
so anything. You simply declare your twelve eligibles on a game by 
game basis - same as football. THIS is a change they did do in a 
sensible fashion.

Who says he stays around until the trading deadline. He's there now 
in case Ainge can use him in a deal, but his salary isn't big enough 
to be worth keeping him for that once you have to cut the rosters 
down if you have a better use for that slot. We're not talking a 
$5-6Million salary that on its own could bring you something worth 
having in return and/or that other teams would actively want.

How would they not be? As I've said from the start, it's not signing 
him per se I had issues with, it's the freaking 5 year contract.

I think he's worth it. Wish he was taller, but he's a much better 
player than Brandon Hunter redux, as some might think.
