Good morning or Halfa Adai from Guam, my new home for the next 4 years.
In checking my morning emails to my surprise I get to read a volume of Celts talk..wahoo!!! camp is under way and on the road to 17. I am always more optomistic in the morning. Put me down for 49 wins and number 17. We ride the wave of athletic depth, speed and defense at end of games to shock the basketball world.
On wether to keep Kandi or not, I dont mind keeping a vet true center for the end of the bench but not at the expense of Jones who is a natural hustling rebounder who can fill that role at either the 4 or 5 spot. If Kandi makes the squad it should come at the expense of either PittsNdl or the rookie FA guard both signed for long range bombing. If it was just a pure roster decision without Ainge's pride and ownership money involved I'd cut or trade Scals. But camp performances, possible preseason trade(s) or injury will determine all of this so lets sit back and enjoy watching this unfold. My only concern with such a full roster is that we miss out on a late roster cut from some other team that fills a need.
I am happy to hear both Ainge and Doc state from the begining that now is the time for all the kiddie corps to step up to the table and that youth or playing youth in a training mode will no longer be an excuse for poor play or missed assignments.
Loving Guam and tropical living and was not sorry to leave my snowblower behind in NH but I will miss watching C's and listening to Tommy H and Cousy on occasion, so please give me your best immpressions and reports.
Go C's
