"Depth" charges explode you know

Yes, he can give us 10-15 pts. if he earns the opportunity and if he is
given the opportunity. Players who play backup often toil in rag-tag
units, different from day to day, no continuity (just like us last
year). Garbage time is all they get. Their contributions are small but
important, without the headlines. Maybe you didn't pick up on it, but
after his injury, he slowly improved and actually had a couple of
promising games, looking better physically, giving small contributions
and yes, happy. It helps to be happy at work and get along with team
mates. That doesn't mean his job is to be a good locker room guy. He's
there because he fills a huge team need. Experienced, offensive center
with center height. In that capacity, I wish him all the luck. And
what the heck, he seems like a nice guy and I like to root for nice
people.

Jorge,

So I don't mis-interpret, I assume you meant 10-15 points overall, and
not
from Kandi alone? If you thought he played with any type of
determination at
all last year you're a more forgiving man then I. I mean if his
"determined"
effort is that bad, what does that mean for undetermined? His rebounds
fell
to him (he didn't go get them that I saw) and his offense was also of
the
"maybe I get the ball if it's garbage time or it's off an offensive
rebound". We don't feed Al J in the post consistently, but I'm expected
to
believe we would use Kandi in a similar capacity???????

Ummm...as far as packaging - no one wanted him when he was FREE this
year,
why would anyone want him AT COST next year?

There's been a ground swell to get Kandi on various Celtics boards for
years. "He just needs a change of scenery" the posts said...no, he
needed,
and still needs, a change of desire that if we're still waiting for
after
almost a decade ain't gonna happen. Why bother - especially when the
spin is
already - "he's a good locker room guy"..."he'll strengthen our depth"
when
any reasonable person knows that just isn't true? He'll only play in the
most dire of circumstances, we already have 17 people for 15 spots, and
he's
never going to even have a chance of improvement?

-----------------------------------------------
I want 10-15 pts. from the center
position and some blocks.

So a year from now we fall on our faces. You package him and we might
get someone more worthwhile.

jorge
