Bob, I don't think improving the value of your roster and hiring a better coach are mutually exclusive, nor does increasing the talent level preclude hiring a better coach - in fact it likely makes it quite a bit easier to do.

I'm no fan of Doc.  But on an entirely different topic, if (actually a BIG IF) Memphis is looking to cut salary by trading Gasol for pick and prospects, why shouldn't we take advantage of the situation?

Before trading away players, wouldn't it be preferable to commit to a
WINNING coach? What makes anyone think Doc wll do any better with
