Let me see....Larry Brown negotiated to get the Knicks coaching job 
while in the middle of a Playoff series as coach of the Pistons.  He 
led them to a season so disastrous that he almost made Rick Pitino's 
stint in Boston look good.  He quit the team, badmouthing them on the 
way out and got paid $18.5 million for work he didn't do.

Suddenly, Danny Ainge looks a hell of a lot smarter then he often 
gets credit for.  He never hired Carpetbagger Brown.
