trading down

Chad Ford says Utah may be interested in moving up also. I wonder if
something involving Raef and Boozer and flopping picks would make any
sense?

I say this knowing that Kim is banging her head against her keyboard
with all the hypothetical trade talk today.

i'm down with any 2 for 1 deal that gets us a veteran
player, plus someone danny likes in the draft. i agree
with mark that it's a draft day deal, though. picks
are worth much more on draft day than any other time.
teams do weird stuff on draft day. arroyo works for
me. even...gasp...tony battie would work, except i
think he just signed a hefty contract. in any case,
he'd improve our defense and has a nice 15-foot shot.

Oh, absolutely. You have to do it draft night. If the
draft shakes out
like it is projected right now (probably unlikely),
and you're left
staring at Marcus Williams or Randy Foye, then I'd
jump all over this
deal. I like Arroyo -- he's maybe the perfect
complement to Delonte --
and you could target someone like O'Bryant, Sene,
Cedric Simmons, or
even a Ronnie Brewer with that 11th pick.
