I'd like to take a chance on him because he's a rare passer, but I agree
that the No. 7 pick would be WAY overpaying.

But doesn't the fact that he couldn't beat out Jarrett Jack and Steve
Blake on a crappy Portland team that is invested in him say something? I
can't see him ever being a better basketball player than Delonte West --
though yes, he is a "pure" point guard for those obsessed with the
designation -- so that would be a waste of resources to me.
