Well, I know that horse has been beaten before, but
didn't Pitino cut Wallace because he wanted to sign
some stooge? Think it was that guard out of San Jose
State about whom Pitino coined the immortal phrase,
"He has his PhD ... he's poor, hungry and driven."
What was that guy's name? Kevin somebody? It says a
lot about Pitino's eye for talent that I can't even
remember ... he's probably working the window at your
local Wendy's.
