yes i would -- then i would gouge my eyes out with a rusty 
screwdriver and pour hydrogen peroxide into my vacant eye sockets.

At this point the only players i would trade Pierce for -- i'm not 
saying they're better or worse, just who i'd give up pierce to get:

Lebron
Tim Duncan
Dwayne Wade
(maybe) dwight howard
chris paul (though i won't profess to have wanted him before the last draft).
Amare stoudemire (pre=injury)
(maybe) 3 lottery picks

there is exactly a 0% chance any of these guys is available.  there 
might be 1 or 2 other guys i'm forgetting (and i'm not forgetting 
Kobe, i just wouldn't want him)...  moving him for anyone else -- 
like an older star like Iverson, Garnett, even Nowitzki -- seems to 
be a lateral move: either Pierce is their rough equal or they'll be 
in the NBA for fewer years.

and therefore i'm not interested.

PS. anyone else think it might benefit both teams if POR and MIN 
swapped Blount/Hassell/#7 for Randolph/#30....
