Apples to Oranges

Seems to me the rush to write off Al is not unlike the rush to write off
Tony Allen midway through this season.  And we all saw how the light came on
for Tony in the final month.

If it's hard to "believe that Jefferson will ever be the player O'Neal is,"
imagine how hard it would have been to believe that O'Neal, when he was Al's
age, would become the All-Star he is today.
