Sheldon Williams

My preference if we end up with the #7 pick is to try and use it to
either (a) get a veteran big man (a la Jermaine O'Neal) or (b) rid
ourselves of Raef's contract and get a lower pick where we could get
a guy like Gene's boy Paul Millsap or Kyle Lowery...

but if we keep our pick and if the draft were held today and the top
6 picks went (in some order) as they're rumored:

T Thomas
Morrison
Roy
Gay
Barganni
Aldridge

then my choice would come down to between Splitter and Williams.
Williams sounds like another Ryan Gomes type -- a rock solid kid
being doubted after a very good college career b/c he lacks the
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupside that some other guys do.

Splitter intrigues me b/c he won't come over right away and has
gotten rave reviews -- but the poster who wrote about his game on
NBATV left me a little skittish.

None of the remaining guards do much for me -- Carney, Marcus
Williams, Foye, etc.

(the other) mark
