Congratulations to Ryan Gomes

Yes Ryan earned the praise. You know a player has heart when he's
banging offensive boards and challenging every single perimeter jumper.
Almost all gifted offensive players (like Paul/Wally) slack off once in
a while and don't extend to throw off shots on D.

On Big Al, I think he's a natural at rebounding and will be excellent at
that as long as the ankles stay taped. But I'm surprised why such a
quick leaper (quick not high), doesn't show flashes of good shotblocking
like Perkins. I think that would be a key if those two want to
eventually step up to Detroit level as a frontcourt.

P.S. If Al/Perk were sophomore/junior in this years draft, there's a
good chance they'd go #2,#3 after Tyrus Thomas, because of huge size and
interior games. Good strategy by Ainge snapping them up early on.

Kudos to Gomes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we can get Al to play like
Gomes when under the basket
we might really have something.
Not that Al's offense isn't growing but he should go to school with Al
during the summer to learn positioning
for rebounding. I just don't
think that Al has the hops to be a . Rodman.....

Goody
