Celts will finally play some suffocating D!

Awesome pickups! 3 players to address D & toughness, and a swing for a
homerun offensive PG. Here's thoughts on their play last year:

Powe is a manchild. I saw him before the college knee injuries, and
also this season. The great hops are gone, but he's still pretty mobile
moving around the court. Pac10 bigmen sometimes backed off because he
pops rebounds in such an intimidating way (like Reggie Evans in
college). His offense is weird for a bruiser, with runner bank shots
and floaters, instead of power layups like Gomes, or traditional post
moves like Al, but he averages 20.

I've wanted Rondo for the Celts for years, and felt he'd help more than
Marcus Williams. The NBA hasn't seen a PG defender like this for a
while. Absolutely Bowen level. As for offense, he's not just some raw
athlete. He's a true PG, more experienced than Telfair/Del when it
comes to directing halfcourt offenses. Non-shooters like Tinsley,Felton
have survived in this league.

Ratliff backing up Perk for 2 years brings even better short term help
than the shotblocker kids in this draft.

I'll pull for Telfair to develop into a great one, but I expect at some
point this season he'll temporarily become third string, because
consistent defensive stops, wins in the end.
