Simmons is extremely long, athletic, and agile. He's not Saer Sene
long, but Sene is ridiculous in that respect. Simmons has only a
basic undeveloped offense, but he does seem to be a hard worker
having progressed nicely over the past year, so the offense could
come with time. He mixes it up well down low, rebounds, blocks
shots, and runs great. He's a fine defender and a very quick
leaper. Don't expect him to be much of a contributor for a while,
but he could be very good down the road.

He's a good compliment to Jefferson and Perkins in that he's nimbler
than either and could cover those longer quicker frontcourt guys.
He'll immediately give you anything you thought Dwayne Jones might
have (if you're of that opinion) with a lot more game to grow into.
He's a surer bet nose-to-the-grindstone-wise than O'Bryant.

Personally, I'd be content with Simmons, but like I said, don't
expect much too soon on offense. If you like Tyrus Thomas, you like
Simmons for the same reasons.
