Telfair

Yes Sebastian's got skills and upside. But will he ever become a pissed
off, hungry overachiever ala Jameer/Duhon?

I watched the Adidas sponsored ESPN reality show on him, he seemed like
a coddled HS star cruising through life with things handed to him
(including his bigtime rep). Sneaker companies, fans, Pitino, Agents,
Starbury and family members kept reinforcing ideas that he's the next
"Great" player. He was rolling in a Bentley sportscar long before he
was drafted and gave off a vibe like he totally deserves it. Also made
some dirty south put-downs to Al Jefferson on an allstar game bus ride.

Then he goes out and keeps getting outplayed by guys like the Clippers
HS PG, Steve Blake in Portland, etc. Personally I question his hunger,
so wouldn't use the #7 pick in that trade.

I don't believe that Telfair's numbers reflect his value.
He is a Kenny Anderson / Tiny Archibald type, still
developing his shooting. His upside is much, much
higher than Duhon's.
