Ainge on Marcus Williams

ESPN quotes Ainge disputing rumors the Cs have made a
promise to Williams at #7. Separately, Andy Katz
saying Ainge will bypass Williams if someone like Gay
slides, especially if Ainge thinks Jay Williams can
fill the bill.

Personally, much as I'm intrigued by Marcus, I
wouldn't mind seeing them use that pick on a big and
trying to lure a veteran backup PG, like Claxton or
Bobby Jax. Unless Marcus can really separate himself
from the pack ...
