Congrads to Antoine

Surprised no one else has posted it, so I'll just say I'm happy for 
Antoine he got his ring and that he played a good role in the game 
last night, rather than their winning despite him. Drove me crazy in 
a lot of ways when he was here, but there was also a lot to like 
about him, starting with the fact that per the 'little guys' like the 
locker room people, he was by all reports a genuinely good guy and 
someone who cared and unlike most, actually wanted to be here. Of 
course I'd hate to be the one trying to get through his ego going 
forward now that he's got his validation with a ring -it was bad 
enough when he could merely call himself an all-star <g>, but Riley 
seems to understand him pretty well.  Hope he has enough class to 
send Danny a thank you for helping him get the contract he wanted in 
a place where he could win rather than just telling him to go away wherever.

I was also rooting for Shaq to get a ring without Koby, and even 
though this was really Wade's championship more than Shaq's, gotta 
say I'm happy Miami won. Not rooting against the Mavs (although 
speaking of people whom a ring would make insufferable, there is 
always Cuban...), but glad Miami won.

Let's just hope Danny finds a way to put us in position for number 17 
before Antoine retires, so we've got a ring to wave back under his nose...
