Another reason for trading Pierce

Actually it isn't a joke and a strategic move, and if you haven't noticed, we have been in rebuilding mode for 20 freakin years and Paul Pierce ain't taking us to the promised land.

This is your idea of a joke, right? You're not seriously suggesting that it's a *good* plan to weaken the Celtics so they're hoping for help from the *2007* draft? Right? Right?

I sometimes wonder if there aren't a few fans who would prefer us to be in constant rebuilding mode, just so there would always be drafts and trades to focus on. Rather than, you know, games. Sigh.
