Walker vs. Pierce's future

I just dont see it. Also, Dirk is light years ahead of Pierce due to his
position and his overall game.
If you made up a list of the best players in the league these guys would
likely all be ahead of Pierce. Dirk is an AllNBA first or second teamer
year in and year out. Pierce is a borderline 3rd teamer at a position that
is pretty easily filled in the NBA.
If a comp for Dirk is Duncan and you assume the Celts would be serious title
contenders with either one, then what does that say about Pierce?
