while i agree with Ravi's general point about mediocrity i seriously 
doubt the C's are *looking* to trade Pierce.  Do i think won't 
listen? No, but there is a difference.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, I just don't see the 
fascination w/ Gordon.  Will he ever be a better player than guys 
like John Starks or Jason Terry?   And while Villanueva proved lots 
of folks (myself) wrong, there is no way he's a key piece in a trade 
for Pierce.

If we're listening to Chicago, any deal	would have to -- for me -- include:

Kirk Hinrich
Luol Deng
#2 and the rights to NY's #1 next year.

If they want teh #7, we get their #16 too.

The #2 and Ny's #1 next year were what they got for Eddy Curry --- I 
won't bore anyone with an argument about how much better Pierce is 
than Curry.

If I'm the bulls though, I'd take Brandon Roy at #2, move Gordon for 
someone like Nene or Lamar Odom and Keep Hinrich and Deng.
