If Wolves fans are looking for another reason to howl
for McHale's head, they only have to turn on the
Finals. Three years ago, Minnesota used its
first-round pick -- the team's first in six years
following the Joe Smith debacle -- on Ndudi Ebi, a
high schooler who's now out of the league. They passed
on Josh Howard, an All-American out of college
basketball's toughest conference, the ACC, who is now
the second-best player on the Western Conference
champion. 

Had Minnesota had Howard on its roster, the sudden
aging of Sprewell would have been a lot less
catastrophic, and the Wolves would have a solid second
option to complement Garnett.
