I loved Kevin as a player. Having met him a few times back
when I was a beautiful young woman, he sure looked
appealing in his tight jeans. Too bad now as a GM he ranks
right up there with Isiah, give or take a few inches.

His naive Joe Smith deal was as out of place as a Christian
Scientist in a Dentist's office, and it certainly set his
team back several years. If he didn't have the wonderful
Garnett, no question, his T-Wolves would likely have had
the worst record in the NBA this past season instead of
matching the Celtics for the more respectable 6th worst
record.

Kevin and Danny's guru, Doc Brain, has clearly failed them.
Yet both continue to look to this shyster for their next
move while their battle of competition continues to be
fought by cheapening their commodities. Oh the folly
of it all when two of the three new T-Wolves starters
(Davis/Blount/Banks) are former Doc Brain approved problem
guys, and the Celts are stuck with "No D Wally" along with
his bad knee and the $36 mill remaining on his contract
through 2009.

Mark Berry, take heed. You are only the #2 "maniacally
obsessed" poster on this list. Danny with his Doc Brain
fetish, his $7.5 mill annual scouting budget while
spending only a quarter of our allowed small and mid-level
exception dollars, his three years betwixt whether to
"win now" or enter into full scale rebuilding, his drafting
rookies for talent (character be damned) but signing
free agents for character (talent be damned)... it all
drives me crazy. Ya hear me... CRAZY... maniacally obsessed
crazy. I's wicked.

Although I did take comfort in your -

"If he {Rodriquez} eventually can play alongside Delonte,
then you deal with the glut of swingmen through trade."

No matter who we bring in at PG, anything to keep Delonte
as a starter, right? No problem; important principles must
be maniacally inflexible even if our future backcourt is
composed of combo guards averaging 6 ft. 2 inches.

Add Gomes at PF and Allen at SF and you have
