Blount (and many others) play "contract years." They bust butt every few years in hopes of getting a bigger contract. Olowakandi busts his butt every few years in hopes of staying in the league. More mobility and flexibility? After about ten years in the league I would hope he has SOME of each. Kandiman has been lethargic since the day he was drafted!
Has anyone ever seen Olowakandi and Benoit Benjamin in the same place? I thought not. Perhaps they really are one ex-Clipper. (Oh, wait, are we not allowed to rag on the Clippers any more?)

Kim,
Very funny about the statue.
Olowkanki was very lethargic at the beginning of his stint but I also
noticed more mobility and fluidity in his short playing stints late in
the season. That's a very tentalizing comparison between Olowkandi and
Blount. I'm gonna have to think about that one. My gut feeling is that
Olowakandi could help given the right environment. And as someone very
wisely stated - 'big men, big men, big men'.
