Thanks for passing this on. That's heartening. At a minimum it means
they're giving him another shot and I think part of the year spent in
the D-league could do wonders for his confidence and experience in
running a pro level offense (that shot clock difference and what it
means to decision making and options has to affect PG making the
transition to pro more than any other position, I would think).

Yup, with you here too. It was largely garbage time, but he he's an
active, eager big body who looked better as he got a few more minutes
under his belt. I wasn't has excited as some people were after his
first game, but I liked what I saw for potential as I saw more of
him. Probably just back-up potential, but solid specialist back-up,
and that's not wholly to be despised.

Tony's trial date has been set for Aug 14th. We'll see if he has a
prior commitment.
Funny isn't it that the built more like a classic forward big,
slowish, muscular Szczerbiak gets slotted here, but you're right in
doing so. His game is really more SG and Pierce's more SF.

Because he barely bothered to move much of his time on the court.
Yes, he'd occasionally come alive for a play or two, not always
intelligently, but at least show evidence of a pulse, but that was
about it. I really don't get it that so many people who couldn't
stand Blount for the same things are pushing the idea of re-signing
Olowokandi for any money. Why? For cripes sake, you can hire the guy
who did Larry Bird's statue to create an inanimate object in uniform
for less than the veteran minimum.
