I respectfully disagree.  It's certainly off-topic, and I think it's great how this list
manages to stay so on-topic.

But the poster *is* a real Celtics fan who's posted a bunch of on-topic messages.
In my mind, that gives him leeway to post a personal message every couple of years.
I like hearing what people are doing in their outside lives, and that includes politics and
business.  If regular posters posted about this kind of stuff *occasionally*, it wouldn't
overburden the list.

I don't have strong feelings about this, though, and I have liked how this list is
all-basketball, all the time.
