prefered lineups

I'm leaning toward this lineup also. I know Wally doesn't like coming
off the bench, but I keep coming back to that as the best way to balance
everything. I'd bring Wally and Tony Allen in as the 2/3 subs with
Delonte backing up Telfair at PG. Up front, I'd have Big Al as my
primary big off the bench in a three-man rotation. Gerald Green and Theo
Ratliff would be the small-minutes guys for now.
This doesn't allow much time for Rondo, but something has to give. Like
I said ... I'll be surprised if this is the roster when the season
starts.

I think I would go with C:
Telfair
West
Pierce
Gomes
Perkins
Unless Big Al can beat out Gomes (I hope he can) on merit in training
camp.
If the starting lineup includes Wally and Pierce, both of whom are
really small forwards, I'm worried that the defense will never be up to
par. I think Delonte is our best guard; he's a little small for the 2,
but I think he can do better defensively againt the league's shooting
guards than Wally can.
