Guard troika

Every indication is Iverson is still Danny's target. Even Simmons in his
chat said he believes Iverson will end up in Boston -- and we know he
has some ins with the Celtics. Danny almost had the deal done on draft
night. He wants Iverson, he has young guys to dangle ... I'd say the
only thing holding it up is league rules (Ratliff and Telfair can't be
traded until Aug. 28) and Billy King's reluctance to trade him within
the division. There just aren't many other suitors, and none of them
have the young players to offer that Danny does.

I just don't think it's over, as much as I wish it was.

Just curious Mark - why are you so sure ("so sure" is not based on
the above post, but several other recent ones) that the Iverson deal
is still on? Because of what's in the news, inside info, something
else? My gut feeling is that Danny's trying to do a deal too, I'm
just not as sure it's that one anymore.
