Indeed. But isn't that a good start? Isn't that a *great* start?

I just watched the _Through the Fire_ documentary with my wife and
son, and I saw a huge number of extraordinary passes. The kinds of
passes that many point guards will *never* make in their entire lives.

And I don't (just) mean the behind-the-back no-look passes. I mean
the zero-second heavy-traffic touch passes, I mean the thread-the-
needle-to-the-hoop-for-a-dunk passes, I mean the long-bounce-sit
up-and-wait-for-the-cutter passes.

Did I mention the pin-point half-court alley-oop passes? (Where was this
man when we had Ricky Davis? Hopefully, Gerald Green will be the new
beneficiary.)

I don't mean to discount the other aspects of point-guardism, nor to
overlook Sebastian's failings in them. I also posted just a day or two
ago about his atrocious shooting and his seemingly invisible defense.

But you can lean too much the other way. Sebastian began with some
God-given talent, then worked it and worked it, starting at age 4 or 5
(he joined a real team at 6), to achieve the passing skill he has today.

That's a weapon, and one most other teams lack. Here's hoping the
Celtics can use it to increase the team's overall play level.
