from ESPN board:

Billy King said in an interview this past weekend that the only reason they were having a convo with the Celtics in the first place was to get Boston's #7 pick and take Randy Foye. The Sixers asked for Green, Jefferson and the #7 pick. The Celtics seriously thought about it before declining.

King was then asked about Boston acquiring Rondo and Telfair, and said he has no interest in either player because they do not fit into what the Sixers are trying to do.

So if Boston doesnt want to give up Green or Jefferson, and King doesnt want Rondo or Telfair, it pretty much makes any trade with Boston impossible.

King went on to say that he's not thrilled about the idea of trading A.I within the division and said he'd only do it as a last resort, and the deal would have to be a very good one.

I wish I could link the interview (it was good), but I cannot (it was a radio interview with 950 AM-Philadelphia).

A.I will end up in Golden State, Denver, Memphis or Atlanta. King is not trading him within the division.

You can never be sure with these kind of posts. Last week someone reported Howard Eskin as having said something about the deal, and I saw Eskin later in the day in Atlantic City and he denied even having talked about the subject.
