Remember also Charlotte gave up Kobe, Toronto T-Mac, Chicago Elton Brand, Boston (and others) Chauncy Billups, Portland Jermaine O'neal and all have not seen truly successful season since. Chicago is the cloest to returning to that level, but through their youth.

I do remember Ainge, though, when acquiring Jason Kidd
for Phoenix, saying "when you have a chance to acquire a
player like that, you have to do it." Or words to that effect.
