They shoot PGs don't they?

Yeah, I agree. I like Harry's post (I don't block them as
I do with Eggy) but this one was one of the all-time cheap
shots. Playing in the league for two years, starting or
subbing (and Telfair has done both) is a huge learning
curve -- the travel, the coaching, the women, the egos,
the money, the defense -- and Telfair has gotten two full
seasons of it under his belt. That's two full seasons more
than even a four-year player in a top ten program has. I
really believe, also, that Telfair is the best pure point to
play on the Celtics since...who? Kenny Anderson? Sherman
Douglas? John Bagley? The truth is that there hasn't been
a true starting-quality pure point in Boston since Tiny Archibald.
Celtics fans may have forgotten what a true quarterback can
do, especially on an uptempo team. How's this for a starting five:
1. Telfair
2. Iverson
3. Pierce
4. Jefferson
5. Perkins
with Tony Allen, Delonte West, and Theo Ratliff coming in for defensive
purposes? Could that work?
A team of
1. Telfair
3. Pierce
3. Wally
4. AJ
5. Perk
would be pretty good too, especially if Al learns the art of help defense
in the lane.
