Iverson offer?

That seems to make some sense Thomas talentwise for PHI -- but i have
to admit i'm extremely nervous about giving up Gerald Green (and not
just b/c we won't have any Green/e's on the Green anymore :)

He just seems like he could be a special player. All in all though I
guess you have to roll the dice... I guess the 2 saving graces for me
would be:

- Ainge has shown an ability to find talent throughout the draft
(Jefferson @ 15, Green @ 17, West/Allen in the 20s, Gomes @ 50....)

- the NBA is a star's league. taking a chance that Iverson can make
your avg team great is as good a risk as that Gerald Green will
become the next Rashard Lewis (never mind the next TMac...)

And i guess we shouldn't underestimate the potential for Jefferson's
development playign w/ Iverson AND Pierce. Iverson will make it a
lot harder for Jefferson to be double teamed. And can find him when
he gets into the lane and a guy slides over to help on AI.

I sure would like to expand the deal a bit and see if we could get
John Salmons.... i think he'd provide some nice backup SG/SF mins
along with Allen and Telfair.
