goody,
I was as excited as anyone, when i heard about the Iverson rumors before the
draft, but I was talking to a co-worker tonight (a Sixer fan) and said the
same thing... that i wouldn't mind giving the team as is, a chance.
It does seem like a good mix of players... and we have yet to see what a full
year of Wally woudl look like.
That said, i'm not terribly fond of Rondo and feel like if we can get a guy of
Iverson's heart and talent for Wally, Rondo (maybe Allen) and some picks, I
say roll the dice.
I think that Ainge probably likes the guys he's assembled too will make it
easier for him to undersell PHI when talking about Iverson... he's not gonna
give away the farm.

With all this Telfair talk by the C's
posters, and then Danny suggests
that Rondo reminds him of San Anton's Parker, what the hell are we even
thinking about AI for. We have
enough talent now to trade for a
all star big if we wanted to put several players together.
I suggest we leave well enough
alone and observe what we see
out of our young un's in the summer
league. Let's see what they have
been able to learn from our "BIG"
mans coach. the more I look at that
roster the more I like it. A good mix
of young and old, with leaders in
the right places. I don't think anyone
would have thought we would be in
this position before the draft..
Am I the only one who like what we
now have. I just woke up from a
dream and realized that November
is only two weeks away.
Goody
