Yeah? So? So's every other coach in the league. Using that logic, 
Pierce is cheap because he makes less than Shaq.

Doc's in a tie for 6th best paid coach in the league, barely less 
than Sloan and well over the average, ahead of guys like Carlisle and 
Avery Johnson. And not that much less than Pitino who you claimed 
(sorry, I snipped it before) he was a cheap option to "recover" from. 
No, he's not cheap in any sense, not even relatively.
